“THINK! Don’t Hate” Training for Preventizers held in Vrnjačka Banja, Serbia

Training for Preventizers within the project “Think! Don’t hate – Preventing and Countering Hate Speech” was held in Vrnjačka Banja, Serbia, from 18th  to 25th April 2021. Young people and youth workers from Greece, Montenegro, Serbia, North Macedonia and Kosovo have gathered together to develop their skills and knowledge for utilising critical thinking in fighting online hate speech. They also worked on the development of an innovative “Preventizer” curriculum and have prepared a series of workshops for preventing hate speech in their local communities.

The main goal of the project “THINK! Don’t hate” is to fight hate speech in the online world by deconstructing and discrediting the narratives on which it is based, as well as by empowering young people to become the leaders in the fight against fake news, prejudice and hatred on the Internet. The project is implemented by Kosova Young Lawyers – KYL in coordination with its five partners: Syllogos Apofiton Ekpedeftirion Mandoulidi (Greece), Prima (Montenegro), CONNECT International (Belgium), Libero (Serbia) and  Interkultura (North Macedonia).
