Call for Peer Advisors Training – UpDatAed

In June 2019 we have implemented UpDatAed Seminar for standardization at which we talked about human rights of Internet users, online safety and privacy in youth work. Stakeholders discussed the challenges of youth work when it comes to protecting young people’s online safety and privacy and ensuring the protection of their right while doing youth work activities. Their proposals became a part of the Guide for youth organizations that should help them to apply procedures ensuring data protection of young people according to GDPR and Rights of Internet Users recommendations.

Now our goal is to finalize the Guide and start implementing it in the work of youth organizations all around Europe. In order to achieve that we will need more trained people who are able to help in ensuring online safety of young people’s data. Peer advisors, meaning some of you, will be trained within the UpDatAed Training for Peed Advisors in Belgrade this September in order to help youth organizations to implement all standards, methods, and tools described in the Guide in their daily work. If you are interested in supporting youth organizations in this field, check the requirements for participation and apply!
