From May 9–14, 2025, a representative of CONNECT International took part in EuroDIG 2025 in Strasbourg, France, furthering its mission to safeguard youth rights in digital governance.
Through active engagement in the YOUthDIG programme and by hosting the session “Youth Perspective on Internet Governance”, CONNECT International emphasized the importance of inclusive and rights-based digital policies. A board member, representing both the Advisory Council on Youth of the Council of Europe and CONNECT International, led discussions on meaningful youth involvement in shaping Europe’s digital policies.
The sessions highlighted practical approaches to safeguarding youth rights in the digital space, including youth-friendly policy design, digital citizenship, and inclusive participation in multistakeholder governance processes.
By convening stakeholders, young leaders, and institutional partners, CONNECT reaffirmed its role as a key advocate for ensuring that digital transformation works with and for young people.
