Start of the project “THINK! Don’t hate.”

In the next year and a half, the CONNECT International will be part of an international consortium established for the implementation of the project “Think! Don’t hate – Preventing and countering online hate speech. This project is supported by the Erasmus + Programme of the European Union. The main goal of the project is to fight hate speech in the online world by deconstructing and discrediting the narratives on which it is based, as well as by empowering young people to become the leaders in the fight against fake news, prejudice and hatred on the Internet.

The Inception Meeting within the project was held from February 19 to 24, 2021, in Pristina. The meeting was attended by representatives of partner organizations as well as by trainers, teachers and peer educators who will work on the development of an educational program that will form the basis of two training seminars that will be organized within the project – one to to prevent and the other to combat hate speech. The members of the consortium also discussed the upcoming project activities and tasks in order to ensure efficient project implementation and smooth communication between the partners.
