CONNECT International Transfers Its Work Online During the Pandemic

When the novel coronavirus swiped through the world in the first months of 2020 civil society organizations had to adapt to a new and rapidly changing reality of working during the pandemic and disease prevention measures. CONNECT International was one of many thousands of organizations caught in that turmoil.

In order to continue operating as normally as possible, the members of CONNECT have agreed to move all of our activities online. A series of virtual team meetings and working groups was organized in order to define the steps that will ensure the proper transition to the online mode of working in a short period of time. The team of CONNECT has developed and implemented protocols for that purpose that have enabled us to effectively do the transition.

We have decided to organize a series of webinars that will deal with the burning issues in the digital world at the moment – from data protection to disinformation and gender violence in the online world. These webinars will be open to the general public and all interested people will be able to participate. CONNECT will also continue posting educational and informative materials on our site and social media profiles and will stay in touch with partners, members and activists.
