Project “European Living Library” is supported by Europe for Citizens Programme

CONNECT International and partner organizations from Belgium, Serbia, Greece, Slovenia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, North Macedonia and Spain will be implementing project “European Living Library for Young Citizens” during 2020 and 2021. This project is supported by the Europe for Citizens Network of Towns Programme of the European Union.

The basic idea of the project is to utilize the innovative Living Library methodology as an effective tool for educating and motivating young people to join the debate on the socio-political future of Europe. The project will consist of international Living Library events that would be segmented in 4 thematic units: Youngsters, Elderly, Women and Migrants. Living Books would be representatives of these social groups from all partner countries, while readers and librarians would be youngsters from the local community where the events are being realized. Connect is committed to digital education and we will focus on this trough the project. All living libraries will be recorded and edited into educational films which will be disseminated both to schools, public institutions and online free for everyone to learn from stories of our living books.
