INFORMATION REGARDING PROCESSING & STORING OF YOUR DATA

CONNECT International (Address: Avenue Michel Ange 49, Brussels, Belgium; Phone: +4915126535312; Email: office@connect-international.org) is collecting and storing your personal data and contact details requested in this application form.

Why do we collect your data?

We process this data for recruitment purposes only in the framework of the webinar “Gender Inequality in the Cyberspace” and we are storing it in our Applicant Database.

Who do we share it with?

We will share the data internally for the purposes of the recruitment. This includes members of the HR and recruitment team, interviewers involved in the recruitment process and IT staff if access to the data is necessary for the performance of their roles. We will not share your data with third parties, unless your application for participation is successful. In this case, access to your data will be allowed to the trainers and facilitators of the webinar.

For how long will we keep it?

If your application for participation is unsuccessful, CONNECT International will hold your data until 15.7.2020, for consideration in case of substitutions or cancellations of initially selected applicants.

If you agree to allow us to keep your personal data on file, we will hold your data on file until 31.12.2020, in order to inform you on similar online opportunities that might interest you. At the end of that period, or once you withdraw your consent, your data will be immediately deleted or destroyed.

What are your rights?

As a data subject, you have a number of rights. You can:

  • access and obtain a copy of your data on request;
  • require CONNECT International to change incorrect or incomplete data;
  • require CONNECT International to delete or stop processing your data;
  • object to the processing of your data where CONNECT International is relying on its legitimate interests as the legal ground for processing.

If you would like to express concerns, ask for clarifications, lodge complaints or exercise any of the above mentioned rights, including your right to withdraw consent, feel free to contact Alkistis Giogiou at office@connect-international.org.

If you believe that CONNECT International has not complied with your data protection rights, you can complain to the Data Protection Authority in Belgium.

You are under no statutory or contractual obligation to provide data to CONNECT International during the recruitment process. However, if you do not provide the information requested in this application form, we may not be able to process your application properly or at all, since it is strictly related to the scope and legitimate interests of CONNECT International and the webinar “Digital Youth Work: Opportunities and Challenges”.
